Avaya will discontinue all new system sales for Telephony Manager effective November 1, 2010*. Customers may continue to add capacity and features to existing TM 4.0 deployments beyond this time.
The termination of new Telephony Manager system sales is the result of the final transition of CS 1000 system management functionality to Unified Communications Management (UCM) based system management applications as part of the CS 1000 Release 7.0 software release (planned for July 26th, 2010 GA).
* New system sales may be extended beyond November 1, 2010 at Avaya's discretion if required to align with a CS 1000 r6.0 EoNS date. This bulletin will be up-issued to reflect extended dates if required. However, customers should otherwise plan for Telephony Manager EoNS on November 1, 2010.
