Avaya Announces Changes to IP Office 10 CTI Licenses

Avaya IP Office Release 10 is slated for release in the coming weeks.   The new release introduces DevLink 3  with advanced secured logging features. Traditionally, call flow events were logged using a  non-secure System Monitor.

Starting with Avaya IP Office Release 10,  RSI will employ a secure TCP connection using Avaya DevLink 3 to query the phone system.
This means that customers using RSI Shadow products that interface with Avaya IP Office Release 10 or later will be impacted.  The only major change going forward is the requirement for an Avaya CTI License.
